Kellen Ingalls wears many hats at Northeast Wind, assisting in development, permitting, and management of wind energy projects as well as providing assistance with community outreach, turbine procurement, business development, and analytical reporting.  Kellen manages the Vermont Small-Scale Wind Energy Demonstration Program, a statewide initiative to monitor and assess the feasibility of small-scale wind turbines in Vermont’s challenging geography and climate (www.vtwindprogram.org).  Kellen also maintains responsibility for Northeast Wind’s business administration, website development, and social networking initiatives.

Prior to joining Northeast Wind, Kellen coordinated Brownfield redevelopment and historic renovation efforts as project manager for a property development company.  Simultaneously Kellen was part of a New England law firm specializing in environmental practice and corporate litigation, strategy, and transaction.  Kellen holds an M.A. in English from the University of Vermont, where he pursued a concentration in Environmental Communications in addition to his graduate work in Ecocritical Theory at the University of Oregon and B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Fredonia.  Kellen serves on the board of Lamoille County Habitat for Humanity as its Outreach and Technology Chair.
