Jeff Snyder performs a wide range of technical analyses at Northeast Wind, including wind energy production estimates, wind resource assessment, shadow flicker analysis, and wind turbine micrositing.  Jeff is knowledable about specific turbine performance and cumulative production loss variables, along with wind turbine wake structure, interactions, and implications.  He is experienced with quality control and analysis of incoming meteorological data from tower sensors, as well as remote sensing technologies such as LiDAR and SODAR, utilizing state-of-the-art data analysis software systems such as WAsP, WindFarmer, and WindPRO.  With a particular expertise in wind flow tendencies in complex terrain, Jeff's work provides precision and reliability to wind energy projects.

Jeff holds a B.S in Meteorology and a B.A. in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oswego.  He has been a member of the American Meteorological Society since 2007.  Originally from Western New York, Jeff is excited to let his knowledge and enthusiasm strengthen the wind industry throughout New England.
